Williamstown, MA and Gaithersburg, MD – November 15, 2006 – VoIP Logic LLC, a leading provider of hosted and managed integrated network applications, and NexTone, together announce that VoIP Logic has completed the 50th customer deployment of NexTone’s session border controller technology.

VoIP Logic’s on demand delivery platform provides an alternative for service providers to deploy a dedicated NexTone platform without having to install software and manage hardware. Using NexTone’s Multiprotocol Session Exchange (MSX), VoIP Logic is able to offer a solution to complex call routing, network topology hiding/IP masking, SIP proxying, SIP firewall, advanced call detail records generation and collection, signaling interoperability and call media stream management.

“More and more service providers are realizing that it is possible to outsource hosting of network applications, and yet retain the control of a facilities based carrier,” said Micah Singer, founder and CEO, VoIP Logic. “VoIP Logic’s offering of globally distributed, hosted and managed products continues to resonate in the marketplace and enables partners like NexTone to achieve exponential growth.”

“VoIP Logic has created an Internet-like outsource model for carriers wishing to rapidly migrate to VOIP, that combines NexTone’s VoIP session management technology with their years of operational experience and know-how,” said Dan Dearing, VP of marketing, NexTone. “This deployment milestone is a testament to the strength of this innovative solution and the VoIP market it serves.”

An example of this partnership’s success is UK-based service provider Real Telekom. Real Telekom has constructed a VoIP network based on the NexTone MSX as their hub. VoIP Logic provides deployment, training, system administration, and support on the entire infrastructure.

“Renting capacity through VoIP Logic offered an attractive alternative to a partition model as it offered us more control: we can access and make changes to our dedicated equipment and we maintain the flexibility to interconnect with any customers and vendors we require. Additionally, the support and SLAs provided by VoIP Logic’s team of experienced and NexTone certified engineers have allowed us to adapt quickly to market changes and capitalize on short-term opportunities. The flexibility enabled by VoIP Logic business model and NexTone’s technology has significantly contributed to the company’s 800 percent growth in 2 years,” said Kanto Kandasamy, managing director, Real Telekom.
